The Lincoln Friends of Chamber Music host a hip classical series at rock club Vega, and we are coming in hot with one of our signature Sampler Pack-style setlists. Our Nebraska debut features single movements from composers like Ravel/Brahms/Mendelssohn, and full-length burners from Chicago heavyweights like Augusta Read Thomas, Sam Pluta, Tomeka Reid, and Katherine Young. Also, some young upstart named Philip Glass.

Doors are at 6pm, so you can grab a drink from Vega's swingin' bar before staking out a seat. This program will have you bounding around the centuries–an intoxicating mix of diverse sonic flavors you are unlikely to hear on the same bill anywhere else.
