We are very happy to announce that our Anthony Cheung portrait concert concert at the TIME:SPANS Festival has been rescheduled! As a longtime friend and collaborator, Anthony writes some truly outstanding music that we are eager to make a part of our return to live performance this summer.
This concert is also a welcome opportunity to be collaborating once again with the artistic hurricane that is flutist Claire Chase. We join forces once again for Anthony’s Real Book of Fake Tunes which was featured on our most recent album, Experiments in Living.
In addition, we’ll be teaming up for the first time with pianist Gilles Vonsattel for Anthony’s piano quintet, All Roads. On the shortlist of composers for whom we’d totally buy a ticket to listen to a concert featuring only their work, Anthony Cheung is definitively on that list. If you’re in the NYC vicinity, you won’t want to miss this one…
